THE ANTI-PHOTOSHOOT APPROACH
Artisan Imagery is a UK documentary wedding photographer specialising in candid, natural wedding photography.
We specialise in fly-on-the-wall storytelling for couples who want to experience their day, not stage it.
As your wedding photographer our goal is to capture the complete narrative of your celebration — the laughter, the emotion, the family connections and the late night bad dancing. We eliminate bossy direction, staged poses and awkward, forced moments, delivering an authentic visual legacy of an epic party exactly as it happened.
Every couple and every celebration is unique.
We photograph weddings of all kinds, including LGBTQ+ weddings, Indian weddings, multicultural celebrations and destination weddings across the UK and internationally.
Where documentary storytelling meets the emotion of your wedding day
Years of working within the music industry have shaped Artisan Imagery’s documentary approach. Photographing artists, live performances and high-profile events requires discretion, instinct and the ability to recognise authentic moments as they naturally unfold, the same approach we bring to every wedding celebration.
Our experience comes from working in environments where moments happen once and cannot be recreated. This ability to remain calm under pressure, anticipate emotion and capture genuine stories with a discreet presence is what allows us to document weddings in a truly authentic way.
Wedding Commissions
We accept a limited number of weddings each year, giving every couple the time, creativity and personal attention their celebration deserves. Every gallery is personally curated by us, preserving the atmosphere, emotion and story of your day, with your finished collection typically delivered within three weeks.
We work with couples who value authentic storytelling, discretion and exceptional photography over trends or staged moments.
Wedding commissions begin at £5,000, with bespoke collections tailored for destination weddings, multi-day celebrations and unique cultural events.
If our documentary approach resonates with you, we'd love to hear about your plans.
